Could you marry a complete stranger that experts say is your true love?

If so, you could be perfect for the next series of Married at First Sight UK.

Producers of the Channel 4 show are on the hunt for Lancashire singletons to take part in the show and (potentially) meet the love of their life.

The hit reality show is a bold social experiment where single people, matched by experts, marry total strangers, who they meet for the very first time on their wedding day.

After getting hitched, the couples then live together for a period before meeting at commitment ceremonies to decide whether or not they will continue their relationship.

The sixth series ended earlier this month (October) and producers are eager to get recruiting for season seven, which will air in 2022.

A spokesperson for the show said: “After the huge success of the last series, with two of our couples Adam & Tayah and Dan & Matt finding everlasting love, we’re hoping to bring more singles together to find their life-long partner.”

The next series will start filming in spring 2022 and you need to ensure that you will be free for this period.

You must also not have any current TV connections.

Applicants must also be 18 or over and feel “ready for marriage”.
