With a history dating back to the Eighteenth Century, the Bay Horse was one of Blackburn’s older watering holes. Situated at Salford it was one of a number of pubs within close proximity. You can see the Lord Nelson with its famous OBJ sign in the background when this picture was taken in 1952. Sadly both these impressive buildings would be demolished as part of town centre redevelopment work
