A driver had to be rescued from a drain after trying to evade police.
Lancashire Road Police shared this image of the man having been pulled from a drain. He had earlier made off from a stolen car and seemingly got stuck in the drain.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue and North West Ambulance Service were called to assist.
Lancashire Road Police said: “Driver was a little embarrassed after making off from a stolen car before needing to be rescued while attempting to hide in dirty storm drain. Great multi agency work"
