WHAT could be more fun for kids than a 90-minute show packed full of chart-topping songs, games and dancing?
A show complete with bright green slime of course.
Many of today's tweens and teens may live in a world awash with TikTok routines and Snapchat filters but it's nice to know that a good old-fashioned sliming still holds a certain charm.

Children's TV channel Nickelodeon brought all the madness and mayhem to Blackpool's Pleasure Beach Arena for two days at the weekend.
Fresh from her husband's recent epic 11th round knockout in Las Vegas, Paris Fury was on the guestlist with three of her children for Saturday's show — headlined by Fleur East.

We attended Sunday evening's show which had a similar line-up to Saturday's but with John Newman as headliner.
The number one artist brought a party vibe, performing hits including If You Really Love Me and Love Me Again.
Award-winning dance group Diversity were high on the bill, and rightly so, although I would've enjoyed seeing more of their epic dance moves.
As well as performing, the dance troupe's Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely doubled up as fantastic hosts along with former The X Factor finalists Max and Harvey.
The identical twin, social media stars were clearly a big draw for the young audience who sang and bounced along to Trade Hearts while the audience was sporadically splattered with slime.

The show has a Slime Pit surrounding the stage for eight to 15-year-olds only. Parents are seated further away but can keep a watchful eye and meet up with their children in the foyer at the end of the show, no doubt in need of a change of clothes!
Blessing Annatoria displayed why she is reigning champion of The Voice with her powerful vocals while rising singer-songwriter Kid Rain delighted the crowd with a couple of tracks including Magic.

Completing the line-up was Wes Nelson who found fame in the Love Island villa but is now carving out a pop career with tracks such as Nice To Meet Ya.
The Slimefest highlights show will air on Nickelodeon at 6pm on Friday, November 5.
