Police are searching for elderly man wandering lost in Longridge.
Officers received a report that a male was knocking on an address in Longridge and asking for a resident who did not live there.
The male is described as white male, late 70s, 5ft 6, balding grey hair, blue checked shirt and blue trousers.
He was in possession of a cordless house phone. The police do not have a name for him.
From what he said, we believe he may live or have lived in the Watling Street Road area but this is unconfirmed.
A spokesperson for the police said: “If you have seen this male in the Longridge or surrounding areas, especially since 7.20pm please call police on 101 and quote log number 1271 from today.
“If you believe you have seen him within the last 5 minutes or know where or who he is, please call 999."
