A huge cannabis farm containing more than 200 plants has been uncovered by police.
Acting on information from people living in the community, neighbourhood officers in Preston located the grow at a property in Broadgate in the city.
The plants have been seized and equipment used to grow the drugs is being dismantled and recovered from the house by officers.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were recently told about a substantial cannabis grow in Broadgate and we have since located and seized over 200 plants, with cannabis equipment still being recovered from the property where it was found.
"This is a great result and we'd like to thank everyone for their help."
It is not known if anyone has been arrested in connection with the offence.
