One person has been arrested and a car seized following a spate of burglaries.
Three houses were burgled in Rossendale earlier this week, with the thieves snapping the UPVC door locks
Last night (October 14), police were working on the Manchester border as it is believed those responsible for the burglaries live out the area.
Police had one pursuit into Bury and reported several people for having no licence or insurance, with the driver arrested for drink driving. The vehicle was also seized.
A spokesperson for the police said: “At time of writing there have been no further lock snap burglary offences reported to us and we will continue to target the borders.
“Basic locks in UPVC doors aren't very secure and it only takes a matter of minutes to break in. You can upgrade your locks to anti snap locks and it is something you can do yourself.”
