A woman and child have been taken to hospital following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called at around 11.30am on Thursday after a car and two pedestrians were involved in a crash.
The incident took place on Crescent Avenue in Cleveleys, and as a result the road was closed for a number of hours.
A spokesperson for the police said: "We were called at around 11.30am to a serious road traffic collision involving a car and two pedestrians in Cleveleys.
"Emergency services attended the incident on Crescent Avenue which remained closed for several hours while the scene was cleared.
"A woman with a serious leg injury and a child with minor injuries were taken to hospital for treatment.
"The road reopened shortly before 2pm."
Two fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham attended the incident, with firefighters releasing one person from the car before the individual was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Two further casualties were also conveyed to the hospital. Crews remained in attendance for approximately half an hour."
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log number 493 of October 14.
