A MOTORIST has been fined £220 by magistrates after his car number plate was ruled to be illegal.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court the case against Janos Bogan, aged 47, of Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, was proved.
The court heard that he drove a Ford Focus on Bury Road, Bolton, on March 3 when the registration plate had raised letters of an incorrect specification or colour.
In addition to the fine, Bogan was ordered to pay £124 in costs.
