Police are hunting a 32-year-old man on recall to prison after he breached the terms of his release licence.
Paul Crewe was released from a five-year jail term handed to him for a robbery offence.
Upon his release, he was placed on licence with strict conditions, which, if breached, would see him sent straight back to prison.
He is now believed to have broken the conditions of his licence and is being sought by the police.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Crewe, 32, is wanted on recall to prison after breaching his licence conditions following his release from a five-year jail term for robbery.
"He is white, 5ft 7ins tall, medium build, blue eyes and short dark brown hair and a beard.
"His last known address was Skeffington Road in Preston and he frequents the town centre and Ribbleton areas of the city."
