OVER £1,400 has been raised for a youth club after a charity football tournament was staged.
Daisy Communications in Burnley hosted the tournament to fundraise for Blackburn Youth Zone.
The seven-a-side competition was held on Saturday, September 25, at Fitness Evolution at Burnley College.
CEO of Nelson-based business Daisy Communications, Dave McGinn said: “I am personally very passionate about supporting local charities and worthwhile causes, so I am honoured that Daisy can raise money for such an important programme that affects the lives of so many young people in this area.
“The facilities at Blackburn Youth Zone are truly incredible and the staff are doing fantastic work. We want to support the local area and help it to grow.”
