Fitness coach, presenter and author, Joe Wicks, made a visit to Lancashire on Monday.

Joe, also known as The Body Coach, was instrumental in keeping children (and adults) fit throughout the first national lockdown, and paid a visit to Waterstones in Lancaster, to promote his brand new children's book, The Burpee Bears.

As part of a nationwide book tour, taking in Bath, Cheltenham, Cambridge and Bristol, Joe visited the bookstore in the city's Market Gate shopping centre.

And a lucky PCSO got to have her photo taken with him.

Lancashire Telegraph:

A spokesperson for the police said: "Yesterday we had a celebrity in the city centre.

"It was none other than Joe Wicks

"He was book signing at Waterstones in Market Gate shopping centre.

"Here's Joe with our very own celebrity PCSO Jo and her side kick Lizzie the BID warden.

"Jo ran the virtual London Marathon yesterday clocking a very impressive time of five hours 18 minutes, beating Joe's previous London Marathon time but we won't mention that.

"Thanks for the pic Joe. What a lovely bloke."

Joe will be at Heffers Bookshop, Cambridge today at 4.30pm, and then Waterstones in Bristol (The Galleries) on October 7, before he travels to the Cheltenham Literature Festival at 10am on October 9, followed by the Henley Children's Literature Festival at 4.30pm the same day.
