A fireworks spectacular is coming to Blackburn this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, Corporation Park will play host to a fantastic fireworks display as well as a children's funfair.
Gates will open at 5pm on both nights and admission is £1 for children and £2 for adults.
Organised by showman, Brindley Gore, who arranged funfairs in Queens Park, Bold Venture Park and Corporation Park over the summer, the event is expected to draw in crowds from Blackburn and the surrounding areas.
A Blackburn with Darwen Council spokesperson said: "The small children's fairground that was at Corporation Park in summer will be returning on October 1 and 2.
"And people can stand on the Italian Gardens for the firework display at 8pm."
A spokesperson for the Corporation Park Supporters Group say they are keen to get behind any event organised in the park as it brings more people to the area.
The spokesperson said: "We're really keen to support any event going on in the park as it breathes life into it and introduces more people to what the park has to offer."
