A man has been charged following two robberies at a travel company.

On Tuesday last week, police were called to the World Travel Lounge on Lord Street in Fleetwood after receiving reports of a robbery.

Then on Wednesday, police were called again, following a second robbery, which had been carried out in a very similar way.

Cash was stolen on both occasions.

Following a public appeal, detectives investigating the incidents arrested a man, and following consultation with the CPS, have now charged a 48-year-old with two robbery offences and possession of a bladed article.
