Taken in 1985, this aerial photo gives a different view over Lower Darwen and the Roman Road area of Blackburn.
In the top right of the picture you can see the massive Walker Steel warehouse. Lower Darwen takes up most of the bottom section of the photograph with Branch Road running towards the left of the photo.
The Roman Road estate is towards the top left of the photo with the large Fishmoor reservoir and smaller Guide Reservoir behind
