IT’S NATIONAL Hospitality week soon and what could be better than booking everyone’s favourite restaurant to dine out with the family this week?

The Lancashire Telegraph has been asking readers what they think is the best restaurant, pub, hotel and cafe in the area is for the National Hospitality Week starting September 18.

Today we look at the favourite restaurants voted by readers via a social media post.

Annette Wright said: “The Whitecroft Indian Bar & Restaurant in Oswaldtwistle is the best. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious.”

Jennifer Murray said: “Duckworth Hall in Darwen is one of the best places for home cooked food.”

Trevor Sutcliffe said: “Cellar Padiham always good service and food is always really good we go regular because of the consistent quality.”

Amico Mio Ristorante in Whalley was among the top favourites and was mentioned by many.

The Spread Eagle in Mellor was another favourite with a few mentions.

The National Hospitality Week celebrates the hospitality businesses that were left stranded in jeopardy when the Covid-19 pandemic first started.

After being forced to close to customers, many never reopened and the ones thar have are now relying on customers to make a return to help them regain their pre-covid status.

Both The Spread Eagle Mellor and Amico Mio Ristorante may get busy with bookings now, so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
