A man has been arrested after being found with a large amount of class A drugs.
Pendle task force arrested a an on Chapel Street, Brierfield on Saturday night (September 11) on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Police searched the man found him to be in possession of items believed to be linked to drugs supply.
When they continued the search in his vehicle, they located a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Tonight officers from the Pendle task force arrested a male on Chapel Street Brierfield, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
"Male searched and found in possession of items believed to be linked to drugs supply.
"Vehicle searched and a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs located.
"We will not tolerate the supply of drugs and will continue to target those people involved."
