Looking Back readers we need your help. This aerial photograph has the briefest of details on it with the caption simply stating ‘Blackburn, July, 1961’.
We’d love you to tell us more about the photo. Clearly there are railway sidings in the bottom right of the photo with the railway line running across the right.
Some clearance has taken place and there are a number of churches and possible school buildings which you can make out. But which area are we looking at? Can you identify any of the buildings?
If you recognise anything about this photograph email bygones@nqnw.co.uk and we’ll let Looking Back readers know next week
