Heavy rain has flooded areas of East Lancashire.
Police have asked people to avoid Peter Street in Blackburn and the Town Gate area in Great Harwood due to flooding and are asking people to find alternative routes.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Please avoid the area and try to use an alternative route if possible.
"Given the recent downpour this is likely to cause other problems elsewhere.
"Please only drive if necessary and you need to go out please drive to the conditions and take care."
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "With heavy rainfall in parts of Lancs, including Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn we’ve just got a gentle reminder to take extra care on the roads.
"We’d advise people avoid driving on the roads in those areas where possible, with only essential journeys being done for the time being."
