SPOOKY season is almost upon us and many businesses across the country are already preparing some Halloween events to keep us entertained.

Eager to make up for last year when many events had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, many businesses will be hoping to come back with a bang and host a spooky event to remember

Here are eight Halloween events taking place across the North West which you can book right now.

1. Scare Kingdom Scream Park, Clayton-Le-Dale, Lancashire

Description:

The multi-award winning Scare Kingdom Scream Park is back for 2021.

The terrifying event sees you take on six scare attractions and experiences and try not to get intimidated by the fantastic scare actors there.

2. Journey to Hell, Blackpool, Lancashire

Description:

Journey To Hell Freak Nights are a terrifying experience led event through themed areas of Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Journey to hell is reserved for guests aged 13 years or older. An adult must accompany under 16's. There must be no more than a 6:1 under 16 to adult ratio.

Please note, Journey To Hell is a scare zone live actor and action based experience which will include one rollercoaster, no other rides will be open as part of Journey To Hell.

3. The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade, BeWILDwewood, Cheshire
Date: 23 October- 31 October
Cost: £10 per person (under 92cm, wheelchair users and carers are free!).
Description:

After dusk, this award-winning outdoor venue will be lit up by lanterns.

Adventure through a magical light extravaganza and watch the story unfold as you journey through the woods down mysterious paths exclusive to this event.

Craft your own Boggle Bindle Lantern to help the Boggles light up the woods at Hazel’s Hideaway, before embarking on a journey through BeWILDerwood like you have never seen before.

4. Reddish Vale Farm, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Date: 2nd October- Sunday 31st October 2021
Cost: From £9
Description:

Ride The Spooky Express tractor ride (£2 per ride), take part in vampire archery, pick your own pumpkin and try your hand at witches hat hoopla.

Ticket prices include one pumpkin per child, additional pumpkins can be purchased.

Make sure your kid is dressed to impress as there are prizes for all children in fancy dress.

5. Harry Potter A forbidden forest adventure, Arley Hall & Gardens, Northwich, Cheshire
Date: 17th October to 28th November

Description:

This brand new experience will launch in the Cheshire woodland this Autumn, featuring an outdoor light trail for Harry Potter fans of all ages to follow with lots of magical surprises along the way.

This will include some favourite moments from the Forbidden Forest, as well as meeting mythical creatures such as Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns, Nifflers.

6. The Brockhole Halloween Experience, Brockholes on Windermere, Cumbria

Halloween spookiness will descend on Brockhole this October with more monsters, more activities and more fun than ever before.

8. Totally Gruesome, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside, Greater Manchester
Date:  2-31 October

Description:

If you missed last year's Totally Gruesome, it's a series of mini escape rooms created for children of a primary school age.

You get 5 minutes in each room to solve the puzzle and move onto the next room. Only your group will be in the room with you at any one time.

There are 10 rooms in total. As it is aimed at children, they don't use scare actors and the whole concept is based around fun.
