THE INSIDE of a derelict building caught fire yesterday with four fire engines called to the scene.
Engines from Burnley, Hyndburn and Nelson stations arrived at Oxford Road, Burnley just before 6pm on Sunday August 29 to find the interior of a derelict property ablaze.
The crews were able to extinguish the fire using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a positive pressure ventilation unit.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around two hours.
No injuries have been reported.
