A FIRE started by a tumble dryer broke out last night, with two fire engines called to the scene to tackle it.
The engines, from Nelson and Burnley fire stations, arrived at the house on Selby Street, Nelson at around 8pm on Friday August 27.
Firefighters discovered a blaze involving a tumble dryer and used a hose reel to extinguish it.
The crews remained at the scene for around half an hour.
No injuries have been reported.
