Police have released an image after a train station waiting area was damaged.
The image was taken on Wednesday night at Brierfield station.
It shows how the shelter of a waiting area was ripped apart, in what appears to have been an act of physical damage, perhaps from someone kicking or punching the shelter.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Criminal damage reported at Brierfield station yesterday evening.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"f you witness any crimes or antisocial behaviour on trains or stations, you can Text BTP on 61016 (or dial 999 in an emergency)."
