A Blackburn man has been appointed President of the Pakistan Overseas Association Forum (POAF).

Ghulam Abbas Saghar will be working for the welfare of families of overseas in Pakistan in legal matters.

The 32-year-old said: “The main purpose of this forum is to serve Pakistanis who are living abroad in every possible way.

“We are always available to go a mile further to help Pakistani brothers and sisters in every manner. The forum provides various services including but not limited to services at all major airports of Pakistan.”

The Forum can assist with free Ambulance from the airport for bereaved families; Legal assistance to expats and family medical assistance for expats and family and discounted stays at various guest houses.

The POAF International began in 2012 under supervision of the Overseas Ministry Govt of Pakistan with a vision to serve Pakistanis living abroad. Since its anticipation it says it has served thousands of Pakistanis across the world.
