A DARWEN charity shop is appealing for donations after suffering from a stock shortage.
Age UK's shop on Market Street is looking for good quality nursery items, clothing and toys.
Chief executive Vicky Shepherd said: "With it being school holidays we are running out of stock, so are specifically in need of larger items such as prams and cots, as well as good quality toys and games.
"If you are having a clear out, have bought some new items or your children have grown out of their items then please donate them to us.
"You can be sure that your donations will be put to good use as all monies raised support our local services for older people."
Donations can be taken to the shop at 3 Market Street, Darwen, BB3 1AZ between Monday and Friday at 9.30am to 4.30pm.
