A 52-year-old has been charged and is to appear in court this morning after police caught him with bolt cutters and several other tools.
On Saturday evening, officers in Nelson arrested a man for going equipped to steal after being stopped in possession of several items including bolt cutters, a face mask and gloves.
A spokesperson for the police said on Sunday: "We can now confirm with that Craig Kennedy aged 52 of Colne Road, Brierfield has been charged with the offence and he will be remanded in police custody whereby he will attend court tomorrow morning."
