DAVID BECKHAM, Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry are just a few footballing legends to have featured in famous Pepsi commercials over the years - and now Blackburn Rovers forward Ben Brereton is in one himself.
Brereton hit the headlines earlier this year when he was called up to play for the Chilean national team, under the name Brereton Diaz, qualifying through his mother who has South American heritage.
This unique route into the La Roja national team for the Copa America has attracted significant interest in Chile, and the Stoke-born striker now finds himself starring in the country's current Pepsi commercial.
Brereton said: "They rang me after the Copa America and asked me if I wanted to do something with them.
"I spoke to my agent and family and it was a great little day shooting and I enjoyed myself and I was very excited.
"Some great players have done that advert before and we knew it was going to be in Chile so thought what a great opportunity to get myself out there.
"It was a full day, eight hours, and it was really fun to do."
Brereton has made five appearances for Chile so far, with a first international goal in a crucial 1-0 victory over Bolivia in June.
