Black BMW crashes closing entry slip road of M65
The entry slip road to a busy motorway had to be closed on Wednesday after a black BMW was involved in a crash.
Highways England said they had closed the eastbound entry slip road of the M65 at junction seven for Clitheroe and Accrington following the crash.
Traffic officers and police were sent to the scene, but a spokesperson for the police said the incident was 'damage only'.
The spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.11pm to a collision involving one car, a black BMW, on the M65 slip road.
"The collision was damage only."
The #M65 eastbound entry slip road at #J7 (#Clitheroe #Accrington) is currently CLOSED due to a collision. Traffic Officers & @LancsRoadPolice are currently at the scene.
