A zombie knife, knuckle dusters, class A drugs and several cannabis plants have been discovered at a house.

On Wednesday, police from the taskforce team, neighbourhood team and local intelligence team raided a property on Marsh House Lane in Darwen thanks to a tip-off from members of the community.

Once inside, officers found a number of cannabis plants as well as a small quantity of class A drugs.

They also seized several weapons including a zombie knife and a large number of knuckle dusters.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Drugs affect people in many ways - the sale, use and production are relied on heavily by criminals who in turn affect our neighbourhoods and communities by preying on the vulnerable.

"The production of drugs is not acceptable in our neighbourhoods and the neighbourhood task force, along with colleagues from the neighbourhood policing teams and intelligence department, work relentlessly to disrupt and cease criminal activities."
