Families enjoyed a weekend of celebrations as Eid in the Park was held for the first time in two years.
The event in Corporation Park, Blackburn over the weekend took place as all Covid restrictions were lifted last week.
The second Eid of the year is known as the ‘Festival of Sacrifice’ and marks the end of the annual Hajj or pilgrimage to Makkah. Earlier in the week prayers were held in the same park attracting over 500 worshippers.
Food stalls, donkey rides and a funfair were on offer for people heading out to the family fun day which was supported by Blackburn Rovers.
