Three drivers are set to be prosecuted after all travelling over double the speed limit in a 40mph zone.
The drivers were coming towards Rawtenstall when police captured them travelling at 105mph, 95mph and 86mph.
Letters have been sent to the drivers and the police have said that there is 'no excuse' for travelling at those speeds.
Speaking on Twitter, Lancs Road Police said: "To the drivers that were recently detected driving at 105, 95 and 86mph towards Rawtenstall, in the 40mph zone, the letters are in the post!
"There's no excuse for travelling at speeds like this on our roads. Please slow down."
