A vehicle has crashed into a bridge causing disruption on the railway lines.
As a result of the incident, which happened in Brierfield, trains are unable to run between Rose Grove and Colne stations in both directions.
At around 1.30pm, Northern Rail said on Twitter: "As a result of a road vehicle colliding with a bridge at Brierfield, train services are unable to run between Rose Grove and Colne in both directions.
"Journey times may be extended by approximately 30 minutes."
