A PERSON was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in Blackburn yesterday.
Firefighters from Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn stations arrived on the scene on Clifton Street at around 2.15pm on Monday July 19 to find a building on fire.
They were able o extinguish the blaze using two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit.
Everyone in the building was accounted for with one person needing to be assessed and treated for smoke inhalation by the North West Ambulance Service.
The crews remained on Clifton Street for around an hour and forty minutes.
