A tenant is being sought to run a park cafe.

The small cafe in Memorial Park, Padiham, is available for someone to take over on a short-term basis but could potentially become longer term.

Burnley Council has said that the cafe, which is adjoining to Knight Hill House, will be open for people who are interested to view on Friday (July 23) between 2pm and 4pm.

A spokesperson for the council said: "We are looking for someone to operate the small cafe, adjoining Knight Hill House, in Memorial Park, Padiham on a short-term basis but with a view to a long-term licence if successful.

"The building is in good working order and has the necessary equipment to facilitate a basic cafe."

Anyone interested in this opportunity is being asked to email the parks development manager kroberts@burnley.gov.uk by Sunday, July 25, with a brief outline of your proposal.
