RESTAURANTS have come and gone over the years in Blackburn town centre, but how many Looking Back readers remember this one?

The French Revolution Bistro was pictured in 1991 situated on Town Hall Street just down from the library.

From the entrance you went up a flight of stairs to the restaurant itself.

On the right you can just see the main building which housed a number of establishments over the years including the Queen’s pub and the Cafe de Paris before becoming the North Bar.

The property currently stands empty.
