A FIRE involving a laser cutting machine broke out this morning requiring four fire engines to tackle the blaze.
Fire crews from Nelson, Burnley and Darwen arrived on the scene on Coulton Road, Brierfield at around 7.35am on Thursday July 8.
On arriving they found a fire at a commercial building involving a laser cutting extraction machine.
The firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a Milwaukee impact driver, a dry powder extinguisher, and a decontamination pack to extinguish the fire and make the area safe and remained at the scene for around one hour and forty five minutes.
No casualties have been reported.
