A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged in connection with a stabbing incident in Blackburn on Saturday.
Benjamin Cronshaw, 24, of Edward Street, Rishton, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with wounding Michael Marsden with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm, possession of a knife in Hereford Road, Whitebirk, theft from a car of a bank card, an e-cigarette, a set of keys, medication and cash belonging to Tanya Jolley, and fraudulently presenting the card with the intention of making gain for himself.
The court was told Mr Marsden is the partner of Miss Jolley.
He suffered three puncture-type stab wounds and was treated at hospital.
