A MAIN road through Bury is closed after a lorry "shed its load" during rush-hour this morning.
Church Lane, Whitefield is closed in both directions between A56 Bury New Road and A667 Ringley Road - and delays are expected in the area over the next hour.
Traffic is currently moving very slowly, while bus services are on diversion.
Commuters are being advised to check with their service operators before travelling.
