A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for thunderstorms for parts of East Lancashire this weekend.
Following a period of hot, sunny weather and with England set to take on Ukraine in their Euro 2020 quarter-final tomorrow evening, unfortunately the weather will take a turn for the worse.
The Met Office predicts that heavy rain and thunderstorms could flood areas including Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Clitheroe and Bacup.
While there are no weather warnings for the rest of the weekend or heading into next week, sunshine will be scarce, according to the forecast.
Temperatures, however, are set to remain consistent with the 18-20 degrees experienced in recent days.
