A LOCAL authority is inviting businesses to come forward to provide catering to a public park cafe.
Ribble Valley Borough Council says that the Bowling Green Cafe in Clitheroe could be an opportunity for the potential tenders to nurture a prosperous business interest.
The cafe meanwhile, located in Victoria Park around Clitheroe Castle, is in a strong position to provide hot drinks, snacks and meal to people visiting the castle grounds.
A council spokesperson said: "Located in the Victorian Park developed around Clitheroe Castle the Bowling Green Cafe provides an excellent opportunity to the right service provider to develop a thriving business venture.
"The successful tenderer will have the drive and innovation to develop and promote a high quality and imaginative service offering that promotes the Ribble Valley and Lancashire and the fabulous local produce."
