CALLING all Peter Rabbit fans- a new event is coming to The Trafford Centre which you are sure to love.

The Manchester shopping centre and leisure complex is opening its doors to a Peter Rabbit themed ‘secret garden’.

From 22 July – 30 August, children will be invited to explore a secret garden that brings to life Beatrix Potter’s The World of Peter Rabbit, where they will get to meet the official classic Peter Rabbit character.

Upon arrival, children will be welcomed by the character of Mrs. Rabbit, who needs some help decorating and filling her flower pots.

She explains that the adventurous Peter has run off to Mr. McGregor’s garden and asks if you will go and look for him?

Will you be brave enough to sneak through grumpy Mr. McGregor’s garden? If you see him stir, you must be still as a statue – and watch out for that mischievous character, Squirrel Nutkin.

Once you’ve made it through the garden, look for Peter Rabbit in the hidden woodland den, say hello and tell him to hop home, lickety-split!

This enchanting experience includes activities such as flowerpot decorating and seed planting, as well as a Peter Rabbit costume character meet and greet for each family or group, which includes a professional photography opportunity within a charming woodland setting.

Children will receive a special treat, with merchandise and personalised photographs available to purchase at the end.

If you are looking for a more relaxed and inclusive session featuring smaller groups of visitors and quieter music, these run every Wednesday at 10am and 4.30pm.
