POLICE are appealing for information after finding an empty tent next to a reservoir.
The tent was found by the Wayoh Reservoir off Hob Lane, Edgworth and police are concerned the person could be in danger.
A spokesman for the police said: "Are you, or anyone you know, the owner of this tent pictured which is pitched next to the Wayoh reservoir off Hob Lane, Edgworth?
"We are concerned for the welfare of the owner due to their belongings remaining in the tent and the possibility they may have entered the water and got in to danger.
"If these are your items or you have any information please contact police on either 101 quoting log 390 of 22/06/21 or alternatively email PC Charnley - 859@lancashire.police.uk."
