Police were called to a property this morning following the death of a man.

Police and crime scene investigation vehicles were spotted outside the flats on the corner of Crosshill Road and Preston New Road.  

Officers could be seen exiting the property just after 9.30am on Wednesday.

Police have confirmed they were called following the death of man in his 30s at the property.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Lancashire Telegraph:

No cordon was in place around the property.

A resident who lives close by said: "It is really shocking and saddening to hear. We were wondering why there was so much police here in the morning.

"This is a main road and there were of people going to work and people did ring me and ask what was going on."
