A 12-YEAR-OLD boy is in a critical condition in hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to a concern for welfare incident on Tremellen Street, Accrington, at 10.40am this morning.
Upon their arrival they found a young boy suffering from a medical episode.
He was rushed to the Royal Blackburn Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to a concern for welfare in Tremellen Street, Accrington, at 10.40am today (June 19). It appears a 12-year-old boy has suffered a medical episode. He has been taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital where his condition is described as critical.”
