MORE than 3,000 residents of a boroug are to asked for their views on its highways and transport services.
The questions will range from the condition of roads and footpaths to the quality of cycling facilities.
Some 3,300 of Blackburn with Darwen households will receive a paper questionnaire while others are being asked to fill in an online form.
The exercise is part of the National Highways and Transport Public Satisfaction survey.
Blackburn with Darwen’s transport boss Cllr Phil Riley said: “"This annual survey is an effective way for local people to help us identify areas of best practice, areas of concern and to spot local trends.
"This is about understanding resident’s views better and working together to deliver the most satisfactory yet efficient outcomes for our local communities. If you get invited, please take part in the survey.”
The national results will be published in late October.
