FATHER’S DAY is just around the corner- and many East Lancashire businesses have some special treat boxes, experiences, and deals up for grabs ahead of the big day.

If you’re stuck for ideas and need to get something ordered before Sunday, here’s a guide to the Father's Day gifts, experiences and treat boxes being sold by local independent businesses:

Darwen’s Hopstar Brewery have a quirky idea for Father’s Day and are selling a Father’s Day gift pack containing some of their beers.

It costs £8 (or £10 if you want an accompanying glass).

The company offer collection from the brewery or free delivery Friday after 2pm to Blackburn, Darwen & surrounding villages.

Want to treat your dad to a special lunch on Sunday?

East Lancashire Hospice’s Café Retreat is selling a Father’s Day Feast for £17.50 per person.

Order it and then collect either on Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th June.

The feast includes

• Home-made chorizo sausage rolls

• Miniature pork pie, apple compote

• Café Retreat Scotch egg

• Lancashire cheese, crackers

• Roast beef sandwiches

• Black pudding, smoked bacon and chive fritter

Sweets

• Gingerbread cake

• Chocolate brownie, dark rum buttercream

If you are looking for something smaller, The Rossendale Trust is selling lunch boxes which include: beer, includes, cheese, cheese and beer muffin, pork pie and pickles.

The boxes are £17.50 but you need to order by Thursday 17 June.

You an order yours online, ready for delivery on Friday 18th June.

Accrington independent seller, Craft Boutique, sell a variety of handmade items with personalised handcrafted designs.

They sell printed T-shirts, which can be personalised with your very own Father’s Day message; prices start from £7.

They also sell sweet bouquets from £15.

If you order before Wednesday evening, you can also get Father’s Day boxes for £6.95.

Izzy Wizzy Gifts is a Blackburn-based seller with plenty of Father’s Day based products on their website.

From quirky cards, to ‘Dad you’re my favourite superhero signs’, the independent shop is great for small and thoughtful gifts.  

If your Dad loves a brain teaser, there is a special Father’s Day deal planned at Lucardo Escape Room in Rawtenstall.

Anyone who plays a game this Sunday gets a free team photo.

There are three games to choose from, including: Dragon’s Heart SD, Safe House, Corruption and Gem Runner.

Prices start from £50 (two people).
