Yellow weather warning as thunderstorms to hit parts of East Lancashire this week
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for parts of East Lancashire.
Following the weekend's glorious weather, unfortunately this week will see a turn for the worse as heavy rains and thunderstorms are forecast for Blackburn with Darwen.
The yellow weather warning has been put in place for Wednesday and Thursday, when the Met Office predict Blackburn with Darwen will experience lots of rain.
It's not all doom and gloom though as Tuesday will still see ample sunshine across the region, with skies clearing by Friday.
Temperatures will remain around the 17-18 degrees mark, with Tuesday reaching highs of 21 degrees.
As for the up coming weekend, Blackburn with Darwen can expect to be dry but cloudy.
