Collision: A road has been closed and the North West Air Ambulance Called into action
A section of road has been reopened after having been closed earlier today following a collision.
Police officers announced that Clitheroe Road, Waddington was closed from the start of Waddington up to the bridge to a road traffic collision at around 1.40pm.
Police and an ambulance attended the scene, with a North West Air Ambulance helicopter spotted landing on the outskirts of the village.
Ribble Valley Police then announced that the road had been reopened just after 3pm today.
