Fire: The blaze occurred on Hermitage Street, Rishton
A WASTE fire broke out at a disused commercial property yesterday.
Firefighters from Hyndburn fire station arrived at the scene on Hermitage Road, Rishton at around 3.45pm on Saturday June 12, where they found a blaze involving waste materials.
They were able to extinguish the fire using a hose reel and a triple extension ladder and remained at the scene for 20 minutes.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
