THE driver of a Land Rover has been fined more than £400 and given six penalty points after they were captured reaching speeds of 100mph on a motorway.
Sana-Arub Arshad admitted to the offence, which took place in November on the M1 close to Wakefield.
Arshad, of the Kilns, Burnley, was caught by an automatic camera while driving a white Land Rover.
They were issued with six penalty points and were fined £293; ordered to pay costs of £90 and had to contribute £34 into the victim services fund.
Magistrates sitting at Bradford And Keighley Magistrates Court took Arshad’s guilty indication into account while imposing the points and fine.
